Wraparound childcare

At Dixons Silver Springs Primary, we offer a number of options for wraparound care for children in Reception to Year 6.

Breakfast club is available for parents who wish to pay for their children to attend school from 7.30am where they will receive a healthy breakfast before going to their class at the start of the day.

Wraparound is available to parents who wish to pay for childcare from the end of the school day until either 4.30 pm or 5.30 pm each day. The club will be run by support staff already employed at Dixons Silver Springs Primary and therefore familiar to your child and all our school policies and procedures. 

Details of our charging structure are included below. All costs have been calculated at flat rates and on a not-for-profit basis and therefore it is essential that all fees are paid up front to ensure that the club remains viable. If you would like to reserve a place for your child at breakfast club, wraparound, or both, from September 2025, please complete the booking form HERE .You will need to do a separate form for each child.

Please note, breakfast club and after school club fees are set cost per week regardless of how many days your child attends. We do not charge for days that school is closed.*

All payments should be made via MCAS (My Child at School). The fees are as follows:

• Breakfast club only: £15 per week, per child

• Breakfast club plus after school club until 4.30pm: £30 per week, per child

• Breakfast club plus after school club until 5.30PM: £40 per week, per child

• After school club only until 4.30pm: £15 per week, per child

• After school club only until 5.30pm: £30 per week, per child

Here is a reminder of our terms of business:

• We will create an order for your wraparound fees each week / month (depending on your preference) on MCAS (My Child at School). All fees are to be paid using the app. 

• We operate a No Pay, No Stay policy. This means that parents / carers must pay in advance for their children to attend wraparound. Non payment will result in us offering your child’s place to someone on the waiting list. This rule will be strictly adhered to.

• Fees are charged on a weekly basis, regardless of how many days you choose to send your child to breakfast club / wraparound.

• There will be no charge for days that school is closed.

• Your child must be collected and signed out by an adult at the end of after school club.
